When the set is locked, automatic sequential numbering is applied to every page in the bundle — the time-honoured Bates numbering convention that opposing counsel, courts, and arbitrators rely on to reference specific pages without ambiguity. Number prefixes, padding, and starting values are configurable per matter, so each production follows the convention agreed for that case.
